Newport International Boat Show

Date: 17 September 2026 – 20 September 2026

Location: Newport Yachting Center, Newport, United States

Organizer: Newport International Boat Show

The Newport International Boat Show is one of the largest in-water boat shows in the United States and a fixture of the fall marine calendar since 1971. The 55th edition runs September 17-20, 2026, spread across more than seventeen acres of downtown Newport, Rhode Island waterfront, taking in the Newport Yachting Center, Bowen's Wharf, Bannister's Wharf, Perry Mill Wharf, Hammetts Hotel, and Market Square. Hundreds of new sailboats and powerboats are shown afloat, which matters: you can step aboard, look at the actual bilge, and compare boats hull to hull rather than on a hall floor. Ashore, exhibitors cover gear, electronics, engines, and services, and the show traditionally includes awards for the best new boats making their US debut. Newport itself does half the work, since the show sits within walking distance of the town's sailing bars and chandleries. Tickets for 2026 go on sale June 1.
