Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club

The Royal Prince Alfred Yacht Club, known as The Alfreds, was founded in 1867 and ranks among Australia's oldest yacht clubs. Its clubhouse and marina sit at Newport on Pittwater, on Sydney's Northern Beaches. The club runs inshore and offshore keelboat racing, centreboard racing and cruising events, and hosts the Pantaenius Pittwater Regatta. A sailing academy delivers youth development, year-round sail training and a schools programme. Shore facilities include a floating marina, a boat yard with a 50 tonne travel lift, two hard stand areas, on-site marine services, a tender service, a gymnasium, secure parking, a restaurant and a casual waterfront bistro.
