Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay Marina
Location: 46 Prince Alfred Parade, Newport, New South Wales, Australia
The Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay runs one of Pittwater's largest marinas from its Newport clubhouse on Prince Alfred Parade, about an hour north of central Sydney. The marina holds 256 berths and can take vessels up to 55 metres, with dedicated superyacht berthing that regularly hosts several large yachts at once. High-flow fuel is sold on site and a 100-tonne slipway handles maintenance and antifouling. The club dates from the 1920s and pairs its berthing with shoreside comforts: the Salt Cove restaurant serves lunch and dinner daily and members have use of a heated pool. Broken Bay, Cowan Creek and the Hawkesbury cruising grounds lie a short run from the fairway.
