Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay
Location: 46 Prince Alfred Parade, Newport, NSW, Australia
Royal Motor Yacht Club Broken Bay was established on the shores of Pittwater in 1926 as a branch of the Motor Yacht Club of NSW at Rose Bay, which held a Royal warrant from King George V. Its first clubhouse, boat shed, wharf and slipway opened at Horseshoe Cove, Newport on 17 March 1928, and a land purchase in 1939 extended the water frontage to roughly 500 feet. Today the club is a boating community and lifestyle destination on Sydney's Northern Beaches with clubhouse dining and berthing on Pittwater. It is a member of Superyacht Australia and remains one of the region's principal motor boating clubs.
