National Lighthouse Point Fest 2026

Date: 12 September 2026

Location: National Lighthouse Museum, Staten Island, United States

Organizer: National Lighthouse Museum

Lighthouse Point Fest is the annual outdoor festival of the National Lighthouse Museum in St. George, Staten Island, a short walk from the Staten Island Ferry terminal. The museum occupies part of the former United States Lighthouse Service General Depot, where lighthouse lenses, buoys, and equipment were built and tested from 1862 onward, and the festival spills across the waterfront site with harbor views toward Manhattan. The day mixes museum access with family entertainment: past editions have featured face painting, balloon artists, mariachi and Indian dance performances, opera singers, and a DJ, with a small suggested donation for adults and free entry for kids under 12. It is a neighborhood event with a maritime backbone rather than a boat show. The festival has typically run in early autumn; check the museum's site for the confirmed 2026 date before planning a trip on the ferry.
