The Fluid Motion Factory Rendezvous is the annual owners' gathering for Ranger Tugs, Cutwater and Solara boats, held by the builder itself at Roche Harbor on San Juan Island, Washington. The 2026 edition runs from 10 to 13 September and carries a Mardi Gras theme, with beads, masks and music alongside the usual programme of seminars, contests, prizes and happy hours. Fluid Motion, the family-run Washington company behind all three brands, describes it as the largest rendezvous of its kind in the United States, and the sight of dozens of matching tugs and cruisers rafted through Roche Harbor Marina backs that up. The factory presence is the real draw: owners get direct access to the people who design and build their boats, plus practical sessions on systems and cruising the Pacific Northwest. Roche Harbor, a former lime-works company town turned resort, is about as good as September cruising destinations get in the San Juans.
