The 184th Festival of Sails runs from 22 to 26 January 2027 at Royal Geelong Yacht Club, billed as Australia's oldest continuous sporting event and the largest keelboat regatta in the Southern Hemisphere. The 2027 edition hosts the Australian Yachting Championship alongside the Australian Sports Boat Association nationals and the S80 Victorian title, with one, two and three day series catering for everything from grand prix racers to cruising divisions. Racing on Corio Bay is paired with a free shoreside festival on the Geelong waterfront that draws large summer crowds over the Australia Day long weekend. Entries opened through the event website in mid 2026.
