ILCA Under 21 World Championships 2027

Sandringham Yacht Club hosts the Performance Sailcraft ILCA Under 21 World Championships from 10 to 17 January 2027, one of the biggest youth sailing titles to visit Australia in recent seasons. The worlds bring the leading under 21 sailors in the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 to Port Phillip, where summer sea breezes and open water make for demanding championship courses. The regatta follows directly on from the ILCA Oceania and Australian Championships at the same club, so many international crews will race both events. Entry opened in September 2026 through the class association, with support from Bayside City Council and the Victorian Government.
