Seldén Half Ton Classics Cup Hankø

Date: 1 August 2026 – 7 August 2026

Location: Hankø Yacht Club, Hankø, Norway

Organizer: Kongelig Norsk Seilforening / Half Ton Class Norway

The Seldén Half Ton Classics Cup 2026 brings the classic Half Tonner fleet to Hankø, Norway, from 1 to 7 August. Half Tonners are the roughly 30-foot IOR racers of the 1970s and 80s, lovingly restored and still raced hard, and their Classics Cup has become one of the best-attended events in classic yacht racing. The 2026 edition passed its target of 40 entries well in advance, with organisers aiming for as many as 50 boats and over 250 sailors, and crews coming from Norway, Sweden, Ireland, England and Belgium. Hosting is by the Royal Norwegian Yacht Club (KNS) with Half Ton Class Norway, based at Hankø Yacht Club's new clubhouse on the small island in the Oslofjord approaches that has been Norway's regatta ground for a century. Entry requires meeting Half Ton class rules, holding an endorsed IRC certificate, and Half Ton Class Association membership. Seldén of Sweden is main partner.
