Sail Canada Youth Fest returns to Kingston, Ontario, from 11 to 15 August 2026, hosted by CORK/Sail Kingston at CORK International. Youth Fest is not a straight regatta. The five days are built around training and development for youth sailors, now extended to include U21, with coaching and support from some of Canada's top sailing coaches and officials alongside racing and social activities. Classes include the Club 420, 29er and the ILCA 4, 6 and 7. The Club 420 fleet has extra stakes during the week, since the 2026 Sail Canada Youth Championship in that class is decided here. The format says a lot about where Sail Canada wants its pathway to go: less pressure, more time in the boat, and one national gathering point for junior sailors each summer. Portsmouth Olympic Harbour, the venue for the 1976 Olympic regatta, and Kingston's reliable August breeze handle the rest.
