The 2026 Sail Canada Youth Championship in the Club 420 class is decided in Kingston, Ontario, sailed during Sail Canada's Youth Fest hosted by CORK/Sail Kingston. Check-in is 11 August 2026 and championship racing runs 12 to 15 August. Kingston is Canada's default venue for events like this. The 1976 Olympic sailing regatta was held here, CORK has run international events out of Portsmouth Olympic Harbour ever since, and the summer thermal breeze on Lake Ontario is about as dependable as it gets in North America. Worth knowing: Sail Canada split its 2026 youth titles, so the 29er and ILCA youth championships are being decided separately at the Royal Victoria Yacht Club in British Columbia. That leaves Kingston's championship racing focused on the Club 420 fleet, the standard junior double-handed boat in Canadian club programmes, with the country's strongest junior crews expected on the start line.
