Crimson Sailing Academy Youth Summer Camp Session III

Date: 3 August 2026 – 14 August 2026

Location: Harvard Sailing Center, Cambridge, United States

Organizer: Crimson Sailing Academy

Crimson Sailing Academy runs its youth summer camp out of Harvard University's sailing facility on the Charles River, on the Cambridge bank of the Boston basin. Session III begins on 3 August 2026. The camp takes sailors aged 11 to 17 and puts them in Harvard's own fleet of two-person Collegiate FJs and 420s, the same responsive boats used by college racing teams. Sessions are capped at 24 sailors, split into two instruction levels, so coaching stays close to individual needs. Instructors are experienced FJ and 420 sailors working under Coach Bern, and every camper must first pass the Harvard recreational boating swim test, a university requirement. The Charles River basin is a good training ground: flat water, a shifty city breeze, and the Boston skyline on the far bank. The boathouse is reachable by T, which makes drop-off practical for families across the metro area.
