Passantenhaven Kanaalzicht Lochem

Location: Walderstraat 6, Lochem, Netherlands

The municipal visitor moorings in Lochem lie on the Twentekanaal by the Hanzeweg, close to the station bridge on the northern edge of town. Known locally as Passantenhaven Kanaalzicht, the jetty takes around twelve boats of up to roughly twelve metres, with a maximum stay of three days. Mooring is free of charge, and drinking water and a waste container are provided; depth alongside is about 1.5 metres. The berths suit crews on passage along the canal between the IJssel at Zutphen and Twente, and the shops and cafes of Lochem's old centre are a ten minute walk away.
