Passantenhaven De Warring

Location: De Welle 1, Heerenveen, Netherlands

Heerenveen's guest harbour lies at De Warring, a compact passantenhaven on the edge of the town centre in southeast Friesland. Mooring is free and boats may stay up to three consecutive days; facilities are basic but include waste disposal, and the shops and cafes of Heerenveen are close by. Crews can also lie free of charge along the Heerenwal and Breedpad quays in the centre itself, again for a maximum of three days, with coin-operated shore power and a water point. Heerenveen sits on the canal network between the Frisian lakes and the Turfroute and works as a practical overnight stop on passage.
