Passantenhaven De Dwinger
Location: Meerpaak, Burum, Netherlands
De Dwinger is a visitor harbor in the Frisian village of Burum, run by the local club Watersportvereniging Burum. It lies about two kilometers by water from the river De Lauwers, the waterway that links the Lauwersmeer with the Prinses Margrietkanaal, so it makes a quiet overnight stop between the Wadden coast and the Frisian lakes. Facilities are simple but complete for a club harbor: toilets and showers, drinking water, electricity and a waste water pump. There is a slipway for trailer boats, plus a grass meadow and picnic area on shore. The surroundings are open farmland, and the harbor is aimed at crews who want peace rather than nightlife.
