Passantenhaven Blokzijl

Location: Kerkstraat 9a, Blokzijl, Netherlands

The guest harbour of Blokzijl occupies the old harbour basin of this former Zuiderzee town, where VOC-era ships once moored. It is one of the municipal harbours grouped under Havens Weerribben Wieden, together with Steenwijk and other stops in the national park. Along the Noorderkade there are boxes with finger piers for boats of 10 to 14 metres; the south side takes boats up to about 9 metres, and there are some quay sections around the basin. Electricity and water points are spread through the harbour, and there is a waste and bilge water pump-out plus free wifi. Restaurants and shops line the basin, and the Weerribben-Wieden wetlands begin just outside town.
