Marina Numansdorp B.V.

Location: Numansdorp, Netherlands

Marina Numansdorp fills a historic basin on the Hollands Diep at the southern edge of the Hoeksche Waard, directly opposite the fortified town of Willemstad. The harbour began life as a tram and ferry port of the Rotterdamsche Tramweg Maatschappij and has carried names from Spoorweghaven to Tramhaven before its present role. Today it holds around 200 berths at wide floating pontoons with stable finger piers and long side docks, and accepts vessels up to 25 metres with draughts to 3.5 metres. Fixed berths are let by the year or season, and passage-makers moor comfortably too. The North Sea lies about two hours' sailing away through the delta, and Rotterdam is twenty minutes by road via the A29.
