Marina Jirnsum
Location: Wjitteringswei 3, Jirnsum, Netherlands
Marina Jirnsum, until 2022 known as Jachthaven De Boarnstream, lies on the old river Boarn on the edge of Jirnsum in the Frisian lake district. Zijda Yachting bought the 4.5 hectare site from the Boarnstream yard and moved in during November 2022, and now runs the harbour alongside its charter and yacht sales business. The marina has about 200 berths, with plans for 20 extra boxes of 17 by 6 metres for larger yachts. All berths have full-length finger piers, running water and a private 16 amp connection. The grounds are green and family-oriented, with play equipment and an animal meadow. The harbour holds the Blue Flag and the Green Pennant for sustainable operation.
