Marina Hylper Haven (passantenhaven)

Location: t oost 12, Hindeloopen, Netherlands

The Hylper Haven is the historic inner harbour of Hindeloopen, a former Zuiderzee fishing town on the Friesian IJsselmeer coast. Run by a local harbour association, it is a pure visitors' harbour with around 40 guest berths and no permanent moorings, so space turns over daily and rafting is common in high season. Maximum draught is 2.40 metres. Facilities are simple: water on the quay, limited electricity, wifi and a recently renewed toilet block. The berths lie right in the village centre among Hindeloopen's old captains' houses, a short walk from the locks and the IJsselmeer. The larger commercial Jachthaven Hindeloopen sits outside the town.
