Jachthaven Winschoten
Location: Havenkade 12, Winschoten, Netherlands
Jachthaven Winschoten lies close to the centre of Winschoten in East Groningen, with direct access to the Oldambtmeer, the man-made lake at the heart of the Blauwestad development. Operated by Havenbeheer Oldambt, the harbour offers around 100 berths plus some 25 camper pitches, with showers, toilets, shore power, water on the pontoons, a trailer slipway and free WiFi. The shops and cafes of Winschoten, known locally for its rose gardens and windmills, are within walking distance, while the Oldambtmeer and the winding canals of the Groningen borderland with Germany give plenty of scope for motor cruisers and shallow-draught sailing boats.
