Jachthaven Wanssum
Location: Veerweg 10, Wanssum, Netherlands
Jachthaven Wanssum styles itself the marina on the Maas and sits just off the river in the north Limburg village of Wanssum, at Geijsterseweg 8. Under harbourmaster Nils van Wieren the harbour serves both permanent berth holders and passing river traffic, a useful stop on the long haul between the Dutch delta and Maastricht. The fuel jetty is a particular draw, with Super Plus 98 petrol and HVO diesel, still uncommon on this stretch of the Maas. Ashore there is a cafe with a terrace, sanitary facilities and a trailer slipway, and moorings are modern and well maintained.
