Jachthaven Vissershang

Location: Vissershang 6, Hank, Netherlands

Jachthaven Vissershang lies on the edge of National Park De Biesbosch near the Brabant village of Hank and is run by the Stichting Havenbeheer Vissershang with volunteer harbourmasters. The harbour has about 450 permanent berths, and depending on the season between 350 and 600 metres of quay is kept free for visitors at 2.00 euros per metre plus tourist tax; the waiting list for fixed berths is currently closed. Facilities include a trailer ramp, a maintenance shed, sanitary buildings and the cafe restaurant DOCKS Vissershang, a designated Brabant nature gateway. Hank itself, with a supermarket, baker and butcher, is about three kilometres away, and bicycles can be hired at the harbour office. The creeks of the Biesbosch begin directly outside the entrance.
