Jachthaven Schipluiden

Location: Gaagweg 7d, Schipluiden, Netherlands

Jachthaven Schipluiden opened in 2008 on the Gaag at Gaagweg 7D, in the protected polder landscape of Midden-Delfland between Delft and the Westland. The harbour provides 225 berths on anti-slip pontoons with side mooring, water and electricity at every place, and the owners run it personally with an emphasis on quality over scale. Shoreside extras include a coffee corner with terrace, a children's playground, underground waste storage, a cycle bridge, gated access and round-the-clock camera surveillance. The location suits sloops and small cruisers: the Westland canals are about ten minutes away by water, Delft twenty, and Rotterdam or The Hague roughly an hour. The marina keeps an active Facebook page.
