Jachthaven Pluto

Location: Pluto 199, Den Helder, Netherlands

Jachthaven Pluto lies in a quiet basin at Pluto 199 in Den Helder, at the northern tip of Noord-Holland. With more than 200 berths on finger piers, shore power and water on the docks, and around 100 parking spaces, it is one of the larger leisure harbours in the town. Its main value for cruising sailors is position: Den Helder fronts the Marsdiep, so the harbour works well as a staging point before a Wadden Sea crossing to Texel or a passage along the North Sea coast. A bascule bridge gives access and opens on request through the day and evening. Winter storage is offered. The harbour is currently under new management and renovating its facilities, so check the site for season updates.
