Norddeutsche Meisterschaft

Date: 12 September 2026 – 13 September 2026

Location: Schlei, Schlei, Germany

Organizer: Arnisser Segelclub e.V. (ASC) Kappeln

The Norddeutsche Meisterschaft der H-Boote is the North German championship of the H-Boat class, hosted by Arnisser Segelclub (ASC) in Kappeln and raced on the Arnisser Breite, a wide stretch of the Schlei fjord in Schleswig-Holstein. The championship has been held at ASC for well over a decade and has grown into a fixed point in the H-Boat calendar, regularly drawing around two dozen boats with crews from across Germany and from Denmark, which is only a short sail away. The Schlei is a forgiving but tactical venue: flat water, shifty breeze off the banks, and short courses that keep the fleet tight. Racing is backed by the club's traditional dock party with live music, sponsored by local businesses, which is treated with roughly equal seriousness. Entry for the 2026 edition is handled through the manage2Sail portal, with the notice of race published by the class association and ASC.
