Kataklysmos (Festival of the Flood) is a religious and folk festival celebrated ONLY in Cyprus, 50 days after Easter (Pentecost). UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Celebrated at the seafront in Larnaca, Limassol, Paphos, and Ayia Napa with sea bathing, water games, boat rides, folk music, dancing, food stalls, and cultural performances. The largest celebration is in Larnaca (6 full days).
