Fiji Regatta Week

Date: 15 September 2026 – 19 September 2026

Location: Musket Cove Island Resort and Marina, Malolo Lailai Island, Fiji

Organizer: Musket Cove Island Resort

Fiji Regatta Week is the South Pacific's best-known cruising regatta, held at Musket Cove Island Resort on Malolo Lailai in the Mamanuca Islands. The 2026 edition runs September 15-19 and is the 42nd, landing in the same year the resort marks its 50th anniversary, so the party side will be even less restrained than usual. The formula has barely changed in four decades: informal races and rallies around the islands for the cruising fleet, including the traditional passage race across to Fiji's waters of the Mamanucas, mixed with beach games, a pirates day, and nightly events at the Musket Cove Yacht Club, whose lifetime membership famously costs a few dollars once you have sailed there. The timing is deliberate. September sits in the middle of the Pacific crossing season, so the anchorage fills with boats from New Zealand, Australia, and the Americas. Results matter to almost nobody, which is exactly the point.
