Falmouth Week

Date: 8 August 2026 – 15 August 2026

Location: Falmouth harbour, Falmouth, United Kingdom

Organizer: Falmouth Week

Falmouth Week is one of the biggest sailing regattas in the South West of England, with origins in a local regatta dating back to 1837. The 2026 edition runs 7 to 16 August in and around Falmouth, Cornwall. The racing, organised as Falmouth Sailing Week from 9 to 15 August, offers up to seven days of fleet racing for yachts and dayboats in Falmouth Bay and the Carrick Roads, plus a three-day short series from 13 to 15 August for crews who cannot commit to the full week. Both options include the standalone Champagne Race on the Wednesday. Ashore it is a ten-day town festival with live music, parades, fireworks and an RAF Red Arrows display. The sailing water is the draw here. The Carrick Roads is one of the largest natural harbours in the world, and the bay outside gives proper open-water courses minutes from the moorings.
