Cannes Yachting Festival

Date: 8 September 2026 – 13 September 2026

Location: Vieux Port / Port Canto, Cannes, France

Organizer: Cannes Yachting Festival

The Cannes Yachting Festival is Europe's largest in-water boat show, and the 2026 edition runs from 8 to 13 September. Around 700 boats from 15 to 165 feet are displayed across two harbours: the Vieux Port, where builders present new motor yachts and superyacht debuts along the Croisette, and Port Canto, which hosts the sailing yacht area plus brokerage and charter boats. More than 680 exhibitors attend, and for many shipyards this is the show where the year's new models get their first public outing, ahead of the autumn season. That makes September in Cannes the practical start of the boat-buying calendar for the Mediterranean market. The split-port format works well: a free shuttle boat crosses the bay between the two sites, and the sailing crowd at Port Canto gets a calmer, more focused show than the main event. Sea trials run daily for serious buyers. Expect crowds, especially over the weekend.
