R&ZV Naarden

Location: Onderwal 10a, Naarden, Netherlands

R&ZV Naarden, the Roei- en Zeilvereniging Naarden, is a members' rowing and sailing club founded in 1952, based at clubhouse Het Behouden Huys on the Onderwal beside the harbour of Naarden on the Gooimeer. It is a club with its own moorings rather than a commercial marina, and its programme is unusually broad: coastal rowing on the IJsselmeer and the Randmeren, touring and racing crews, a Wednesday evening keelboat competition on the Gooimeer, J/80 class racing and an active youth sailing school. Evening rowing races run through the season alongside the sailing calendar. Visiting boats should not count on guest berths; the pontoons serve the membership, though the club welcomes prospective members and guest participants.
