Waddenhaven Vlieland
Location: Havenweg 68, Vlieland, Netherlands
Waddenhaven Vlieland, run by the Stichting Aanloophaven Vlieland, is the only harbour on the car-free Wadden island of Vlieland and offers roughly 300 visitor moorings at Havenweg 68. The harbour doubles as a working port, so recreational yachts share the water with the ferry, fishing boats and the brown-fleet sailing barges that tour the Wadden Sea. Arrival and departure are tidal, as with all harbours on this UNESCO-listed shallow sea. Ashore there are showers, electricity, fresh water and waste disposal, with restaurants and shops nearby and the village of Oost-Vlieland a fifteen-minute walk away along the edge of forest and beach.
