Jachthaven Zuidbroek
Location: Havenstraat 2, Zuidbroek, Netherlands
Jachthaven Zuidbroek sits on the Winschoterdiep in the Groningen village of Zuidbroek, on the canal route between Groningen city and Winschoten. The independently run yard-and-marina business at Industrieweg offers temporary, permanent and visitor berths along the canal bank and handles vessels of considerable size, up to around 25 metres including houseboats. A 40-tonne mobile boat crane, a hydraulic boat trailer and a washing station support maintenance work, and a 3,000 square metre shed provides covered winter storage. The A7 motorway lies a few minutes away, which makes the site practical for owners who trailer boats or visit out of season. Guest moorings suit crews on passage through the Groningen canal network.
