Jachthaven Seabell
Location: De Munniksplaat 12, Makkum, Netherlands
Jachthaven Seabell, run by Seabell Watersport at De Munniksplaat 12 in Makkum, is a working home port for sailors heading out onto the IJsselmeer and the Wadden Sea. The harbour has 50 permanent berths and around 10 guest places for boats of 8 to 15 metres; passing yachts can usually lie at the outer jetty, and in high season vacant permanent berths are let to visitors. The yard operates a 30 tonne crane for lifting boats onto blocks and offers indoor and outdoor winter storage, maintenance and damage repair. The firm also runs a yacht brokerage, and the village centre of Makkum is close at hand.
