Jachthaven Oranjeplaat
Location: Muidenweg 4, Arnemuiden, Netherlands
Jachthaven Oranjeplaat lies on the Veerse Meer near Arnemuiden, on the Walcheren shore of the lake that formed after the Zandkreekdam (1960) and Veersegatdam (1961) closed off the Veerse Gat. It is widely described as the most sheltered harbour on the Veerse Meer, reached through a narrow but well-marked channel. The harbour is club-run: the CJO manages berths and the WSVA runs the clubhouse and events. There are 365 fixed berths and about 20 visitor berths, with box moorings usually available for passanten in season. Winter storage is offered in the water or on the quay at favourable rates, and club membership is not required for it. The harbour began in the 1960s as a municipal facility of Arnemuiden.
