Switzerland Sail Grand Prix Geneva 2026

Date: 19 September 2026 – 20 September 2026

Location: Lake Geneva, Geneva, Switzerland

Organizer: SailGP

The Rolex Switzerland Sail Grand Prix returns to Geneva on 19 and 20 September 2026 as the eleventh stop of SailGP Season 6 and the last European event before the season-ending double header in the UAE. National teams race identical F50 foiling catamarans, boats that can approach 100 km/h, on a short stadium course just metres off the shore at Port de La Tour Carree in Cologny. Freshwater racing is rare in SailGP, and Lake Geneva adds its own character: shifty Alpine wind, flat water, the Jet d'Eau and Mont Blanc in the background. The 2025 debut sold out, and the finish was cruel for the home crowd, with Germany's team denying Switzerland victory on its own water. That result gives the 2026 edition a ready-made storyline. Grandstand tickets sell through the official SailGP site. If you want to watch foiling boats at full speed without going to sea, this is the event.
