Annual maritime music festival in Hollum, Ameland on the third Saturday of June, with brass bands and shanty choirs performing on eight stages around the village. Tribute to a 19th-century horse-drawn lifeboat rescue tradition; the famous horse-drawn lifeboat is launched the Friday before.
