Allround Watersport Meerwijck

Location: Jachthavenweg 2, Kropswolde, Netherlands

Allround Watersport Meerwijck is a full-service harbour at Kropswolde on the Zuidlaardermeer, on the border of Groningen and Drenthe. The Stalman family built the harbour in 1974 and the second generation, John and Sabine Stalman, runs it today. It has more than 300 berths with electricity and water on almost every jetty, modern sanitary facilities with a laundry, a fuel station for diesel and petrol, a slipway and a boat lift for vessels up to 25 tonnes. A large watersport shop and a sales operation for new and used boats, including the Antaris range, complete the business. The lake sits in a nature area within the UNESCO Geopark De Hondsrug, on the Veenroute through the old peat country.
