Alpha Sail Makkum
Location: Stranwei 17, Makkum, Netherlands
Alpha Sail Makkum is a small marina and charter operation at Stranwei 17 on the Makkumer Zuidwaard, directly on the IJsselmeer and about fifteen minutes' sailing from the Kornwerderzand lock to the Wadden Sea. The harbour has 45 berths with electricity, water, wifi and a sanitary building, plus free parking, bicycle hire and daily supervision. The centre of Makkum and the beach are within walking distance. Alongside moorings, the firm charters cruising yachts such as a Bavaria 37 Cruiser and a Tartan 3100, and its yard handles winter storage and maintenance work from antifouling and heating installation to hull, interior and engine repairs.
