HAB is FFVoile shorthand for voile habitable, keelboats with accommodation, and this is the Ligue de Bourgogne Franche-Comté de Voile's season-long championship for them. Like the league's other 2026 rankings it stays open in the federation calendar until 31 December, with the classification built from results at club regattas through the year rather than decided at one event. Keelboat racing in a region with no coastline is its own niche. Clubs in Burgundy and Franche-Comté sail on lakes, among them the Base de Voile at Vaivre-et-Montoille near Vesoul, which means compact trailerable boats rather than offshore machines, and short tactical courses instead of long legs. The league represents the Fédération Française de Voile across the two former regions and runs parallel championships for windsurf, catamarans and several dinghy divisions. This one crowns the region's habitable champion once the final results of the year are counted.
