This listing covers the Europe class within the Championnat de Ligue Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the year-long regional championship organised by the Ligue de Voile Nouvelle-Aquitaine with Banque Populaire as title partner. The Europe, a singlehanded dinghy, gets its own line in the league rules with one practical caveat: if fewer than five boats enter, Europes are scored intersérie alongside other dinghies instead of as a standalone class. Standings are built from grade 5A and grade 4 regattas at clubs around Nouvelle-Aquitaine, and a class needs at least five boats and two raced events before the regional champion title is awarded. The stated purpose of the championship is training volume and selection toward the French championships, so the calendar front-loads the selective regattas into the first two trimesters and leaves autumn to local racing. The season closes after the Coupe Régionale, which in 2026 was sailed at Carcans-Maubuisson on 6 and 7 June.
