CHALLENGE du IYCH 2026

The Challenge du IYCH is the club challenge of the International Yacht Club de Hyères, a keelboat club founded in 1997 and based at Hyères on the Var coast. The club has 13 regattas on its 2026 program, mixing cruiser-racer fleets with SB20 sportboats, and the challenge threads through that season rather than existing as one standalone event. The winter portion is typical of the approach: three friendly rounds, the Coupe des Rois Mages on 11 January, the Coupe des Crêpes on 7 and 8 February and the Coupe de Printemps in early March, open to IYCH members and to boats from Hyères and neighbouring ports. The tone is deliberate. The IYCH pitches its racing as a bridge between cruising and competition, so crews who might never enter a championship get a start line, a course off Hyères, and a February trophy literally named after crêpes.
