Moreton Bay Boat Club
Location: Bird Street, Scarborough, QLD, Australia
Moreton Bay Boat Club is based at Scarborough Boat Harbour on the northern tip of the Redcliffe Peninsula, north of Brisbane. Its sailing branch fields roughly 20 yachts and 50 members for racing and cruising through the year, with championship races held between August and May. Sub-sections range from competitive racing to social sailing and cruising in company, and the Challenge Sailing programme takes people with disabilities out on Moreton Bay. A junior sailing section operates from the same harbour. The club runs a marina with berths on Bird O'Passage Parade together with a clubhouse and restaurant open to visitors.
