Great Lakes Sailing Club

Location: Point Road, Booti Booti, NSW, Australia

Great Lakes Sailing Club sits on the eastern shore of Wallis Lake inside Booti Booti National Park, about ten kilometres south of Forster on the NSW Mid Coast. The club has managed the site in partnership with the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service since 1971 and races off the beach dinghies and catamarans on Sundays from early September to May. It has staged state and national championships, including the NSW Hobie Cat State Championships, and more than 50 editions of its annual Wildcat Regatta, which drew 95 entries from across Australia in 2024. The shallow, clear water in front of the club suits young families and newcomers.
