Watersportvereniging Brouwershaven

Location: Nieuwe Jachthaven 12, Brouwershaven, Netherlands

Watersportvereniging Brouwershaven runs the club moorings in the historic harbour of Brouwershaven on Schouwen-Duiveland. The town sits on the sheltered south side of the Grevelingen, the largest saltwater lake in western Europe and a tide-free sailing area with clear water. Members berth in the Oude Haven and Nieuwe Haven. Visitors can use the visitor jetty in the Oude Haven or free boxes after contacting the harbour office by phone or on VHF channel 31. Maximum depth in the harbour is about 2 metres. The clubhouse 't Roefje at the harbour is open to members, visiting crews and townspeople. Brouwershaven itself is a small former port town with a market square and a large medieval church.
