Waterrijck Sneekermeer
Location: Burgemeester de Hooppark 2, Offingawier, Netherlands
Jachthaven Sneekermeer occupies a prime spot at Offingawier on the western shore of the Sneekermeer, the lake that hosts the annual Sneekweek regatta. The harbour now trades as Waterrijck Sneekermeer and has shifted its focus towards houseboats, with moorings, houseboat berths and a beach club on site. The location remains one of the best connected in Friesland for sailors, with the lake on the doorstep, the town of Sneek a short distance away by water and the wider Frisian lake network beyond. Neighbouring facilities at Offingawier include the KWS Starteiland harbour and RCN De Potten, which underlines how busy this corner of the lake is in season.
