Vlietland Jachtservice
Location: Rietpolderweg 6, Leidschendam, Netherlands
Vlietland Jachtservice is a combined marina and boatyard in the Vlietland recreation area between Leidschendam and Voorschoten, just south of Leiden. The company has worked here for more than forty years and runs about 320 open and covered berths and storage places on a site of roughly 15,500 square metres. The yard repairs wooden, steel, polyester and aluminium hulls and also converts boats to electric drive. A boat crane is on site, along with indoor and outdoor winter storage. The company runs a watersports shop with a large stock and a brokerage for sales and purchases. The Vlietland lakes suit dinghies and sloops, and the adjacent Vliet connects Leiden with Delft and Den Haag by water.
