Twirre Watersport

Location: Pontdyk 8f, Langweer, Netherlands

Twirre Watersport runs a small marina on the south side of the Langwarder Wielen at Langweer, one of the busiest sailing villages in southwest Friesland. Fixed berths take boats up to 12 metres and have electricity on the jetty, with drinking water, toilets and showers ashore. The harbour is open from 1 April to 1 November and overnight stays afloat are not permitted, so it suits berth holders rather than passing crews. The yard has a boat lift for vessels up to 3,000 kilograms, a rinse station, an engine and antifouling workshop, winter storage and boat houses. The company also rents sloops through Langweerder Sloep. From the Wielen the Frisian lakes open in every direction.
