Passantenhaven Leiden

Location: Havenplain 3, Leiden, Netherlands

Passantenhaven Leiden is the municipal visitor harbour at Havenplein, right at the edge of Leiden's historic centre where the Oude Rijn meets the town canals. The harbour offers about 50 visitor berths and is run by the city, with a harbour office and harbourmaster on site. Crews arriving from the east sail in over the Zijl, the Rijn-Schiekanaal or the Oude Rijn. Berths cost 1.65 euros per metre per night, and in peak season stays are capped at three consecutive nights after consultation with the harbourmaster. Water and electricity are available on the quay, and the facilities include showers and toilets. Museums, the Saturday market and the old university quarter are all a short walk away.
