Marinapark Houthaven

Location: Badhuisweg 9c, Zaandam, Netherlands

Marinapark Houthaven stands on the site of a former timber harbour on the Zaan in Zaandam, about fifteen minutes by water from Amsterdam. The old Jachthaven Dukra has been redeveloped into a mixed waterfront community with 122 moorings for recreational craft, 29 berths for houseboats and three plots for floating homes, laid out along 290 metres of wooden boardwalk. Berths carry full services, from shore power and water to sewage connections and fibre internet, and a harbour master is on site seven days a week. A family restaurant with a terrace overlooks the basin, and the centre of Zaandam is close by.
