Marina Camping Roodehaan
Location: Roodehaansterweg 9, Warfhuizen, Netherlands
The small harbour at Camping Reitdiep, formerly Camping Roodehaan, lies on the Reitdiep at the hamlet of Roodehaan near Warfhuizen, some twenty kilometres north-west of the city of Groningen. It is a modest stop rather than a full marina, with around ten fixed berths, a handful of visitor places and a 25-metre mooring quay, on floating jetties with electricity. Guests use the campsite facilities, which include sanitary blocks, a restaurant and food outlet, motorboat and sloop hire and a dozen paddleboards. The Reitdiep itself, the old sea channel of Groningen, offers sheltered cruising between the city and the Lauwersmeer.
